Information we do not collect

The world clock works without accounts. We do not ask for your name, email address or precise location, and there is no sign-up or comment form on this site. Your time zone is read in your browser only to display your local time.

Data stored on your device

If you star a city or switch between 12-hour and 24-hour display, the choice is saved in your browser's local storage on your device. It is not sent to our servers. You can remove it at any time by clearing site data in your browser settings.

Language translation

The site is written in English. When you choose another language from the menu in the top-right corner, your browser loads Google Translate (translate.google.com). Google receives your IP address and the text of the page so it can translate it, under Google's Privacy Policy. The site stores your choice in a cookie named googtrans. Choose English to remove it. Nothing is sent to Google if you stay in English.

Hosting and server logs

This site is served through Cloudflare, which provides hosting and content delivery. Like most websites, Cloudflare may process technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested in order to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. Cloudflare's own privacy policy applies to that processing.

Advertising

This site does not currently show advertising and does not use advertising cookies. If we add advertising in the future, this policy will be updated first to describe the provider, the cookies used and your choices.

Analytics

This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and measure page performance. It does not use cookies and does not track you across websites. If we add other analytics tools, this policy will be updated first.

Children

TIME ATLAS is a general-purpose tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the site changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
